Our Farmhouse: Demo-Day

Hurrah!! We finally start on the house.

This is the beginning of tearing down the 1917 addition to our circa 1830’s house. This is the back of the house. We rebuilt a new addition a bit bigger as you will see on the upcoming posts.

We bring in the big guns to make it go faster.

Our contractor and good friend, Paul Bennett, was at the controls. We are taking down the back wall of the old addition. The room you are looking into will be part of our new kitchen.

We were so excited to finally get started on the house.
