A Visit To Tamarack

Many of us are taking summer trips.  If your journeys take you down the West Virginia turnpike, take a few minutes to stop at Tamarack in Beckley, West Virginia.   It is often called “The Best of West Virginia”,  

The treasures  here remind us of ‘the flavor’ of a time gone-by and the artisans, men and women, who make  these wonderful products:  Fiesta pottery, stained glass, wood carving, paintings on slate, ornaments, honey, maple syrup and more.  Enjoy a quick meal with some offerings unique to this area or try coffee and snacks at Tamarack from the famous Greenbrier, “America’s resort”, located in nearby White Sulphur Springs,  WV.

There is also an attached area called the Glass Blowing Studio where you can see the artisans at work at appointed times.
